Are missing teeth affecting your confidence or everyday life? Missing teeth can lead to challenges in eating, speaking, and even impact your overall oral health. That’s why our team is here to help you restore your smile and regain full functionality with dental implants.

Whether you’ve lost a single tooth or several, dental implants can replace them with a secure, natural-looking alternative that feels just like your real teeth. With dental implants, you’ll no longer need to worry about the gaps in your smile. If you’re looking for a long-lasting solution to replacing missing teeth, dental implants from Tomalty Dental Care are the ideal option for you.

What Are Dental Implants?

Dental implants are titanium posts that act as artificial tooth roots. Once placed into the jawbone, they support crowns, bridges, or dentures. These implants provide a stable and permanent foundation, ensuring your dental crown, bridge or dentures look, feel, and function like natural teeth.

Why Choose Dental Implants?

Natural Look & Feel

Our dental implants blend seamlessly with your smile, giving you the appearance and function of natural teeth.

Long-Lasting

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime, making them a cost-effective, long-term solution.

Improved Oral Health

Implants help preserve bone structure and prevent the shifting of surrounding teeth, promoting overall oral health.

Comfortable & Secure

Unlike removable dentures, implants stay securely in place, allowing you to eat, speak, and smile without worry.

The Dental Implant Process at Tomalty Dental Care

At Tomalty Dental Care, we guide you through every step of the implant process.

First, we’ll evaluate your oral health and determine if you’re a good candidate for implants. Then, the implant, which looks like a small screw or cylinder, is placed into your jaw. Over the next two to six months, the implant and the bone need to bond together to form an anchor for your artificial tooth. During this time, our dental implant specialist will design a temporary tooth replacement that can be worn over the implant site.

After the healing has taken place, our dental implant specialist will uncover the implant and attach an extension. This small metal post, called an abutment, completes the foundation on which your new tooth will be placed. Your gums will be allowed to heal for a couple of weeks following this procedure.

Finally, our dental implant specialist will have our laboratory create a crown, bridge or denture for you that will attach to the abutment. You will experience restored confidence in your smile and your ability to chew and speak. Dental implants are so natural looking and feeling, you may forget you ever lost teeth.
